Scoliosis

The spinal condition called scoliosis is literally a contortion or misalignment of the spinal column. Girls 7 to 18 years old are mainly affected by this disorder. Scoliosis is not thought of as a disease that is hereditary, but it has been found, through research studies, that having one or both parents with Scoliosis, makes it more likely that children may inherit the disorder.

By treating it early, the progression of Scoliosis can be slowed or even stopped. Often therapeutic chiropractic procedures include corrective alignments for improved spinal function.
